Dr. Lyle McNeil
Director
Scott received his Bachelor's degree from Utah State University in Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences with a minor in Spanish and obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He worked as a mixed animal veterinarian in Minnesota and Utah for 4 years and then was a Professional Consulting Veterinarian for Hill’s Pet Nutrition, providing technical training and educating veterinarians about applied clinical nutrition. After 14 years with Hill’s, he became the Course Instructor in Principles of Surgery at USU’s School of Veterinary Medicine. He recently became a Senior Professional Services Veterinarian at Boehringer-Ingelheim Animal Health.

Dr. Cody Faerber
Director
Dr. Faerber is the owner and CEO of several small, mixed animal hospitals in Utah and Idaho, with a staff of over 40 veterinarians and pet professionals. He obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1998. He is the author of animal health publications and has published seven animal-related books that are sold internationally. He is the owner and CEO of Mentoring your Dream, a company that assists small business start-ups, particularly those in the veterinary field.
Dr. Travis Hill
Director and Chair of the Board
Dr. Whiting is eminently qualified to serve as Chair of the Board and steer the Charity to success. He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Washington State University and for many years was involved in teaching of veterinary medicine at USU, including diagnostic challenges facilitator and communications course coach at USU. He also served as Co-Chair of the legislative committee of the Utah Veterinary Medical Association and was past president of the Cache County Veterinary Practitioner’s Association. Moreover, he has served as a veterinarian in two local veterinary clinics in Cache County.
Darla Clark
Director and Chair of the Board
Dr. Whiting is eminently qualified to serve as Chair of the Board and steer the Charity to success. Susan Curtis, CVT, CPhT
Director
Ms. Curtis obtained a bachelor degree at USU and then graduated from Penn Foster with a degree in veterinary technology. She is currently completing a second degree in veterinary technology. She has over 35 years of industry-related experience in multiple vet areas, including small animals, large animals and exotic animals. She has been the department head of animal sciences at Bridgerland Technological College since 2007 and there developed a program and curriculum for college and high school students to become skilled veterinary assistants. Ninety-one percent (91%) of her students complete their courses and ninety-six percent (96%) are placed in animal-related industry positions. Ms. Curtis founded Sandy’s Haven, a nonprofit animal sanctuary and wildlife rehabilitation center that provides animal assisted activities to special needs individuals as well as educational programs for the general public.
